Doors, gates and windows often have to be thermally insulated when they are placed as a partition in rooms where a functional temperature is desirable or necessary. This can be e.g. interior doors as well as exterior doors.
In Belgium, the standards are becoming stricter. For example, the maximum heat losses for doors should not exceed 2.0 W/m² and 1.5 W/m² for windows.
To be considered thermally insulating, the U-value of the door must be ≤ 3.5 W/m²K and guarantee a minimum air-tightness (at least class L2).
The thermally insulated doors, gates and windows supplied by us meet the U-values T0 to T5, depending on the desired version.
For doors and gates for cold stores and freezers, we refer to our applications with isothermal properties.
